About the Studio
Studio KasBah was founded by interior designer Camilla Borghi. Italian by blood, she was born in Iseo, Brescia, in 1998. She moved abroad at the tender age of twelve and grew up between Switzerland, the UAE, and the United States.
While initially trained in Art History and International Relations, she went on to study Cultural Heritage Management and later on Arts Business & Administration in the U.S. and Italy. While working in the world of private art trading, she was presented with an opportunity to work on a renovation project for a close client.
After resuming her studies and completing a Masters degree in Interior Design and Decoration at the renowned Elisava School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona, Spain, she became a certified interior designer, and immediately founded her own practice and studio.
Studio KasBah's multicultural and multidisciplinary approach to interior design owes its roots to Camilla's dynamic and flexible background.
Growing up around the world and having to adapt to different settings and requirements, has transformed her work ethic, which is perfectly reflected by the studio's core values.
No set style, no designer vision. The client has creative freedom and the designer has the duty to expand that freedom's horizons.
Camilla is bilingual in English and Italian, while also being perfectly fluent in Spanish, Greek, and Arabic. Wherever you may be in the world, we have the tools to translate your thoughts into reality.
